The room was nice and clean. Easy to find. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We will stay there again.

This motel should capitalize on a train theme. There are train tracks directly across from the hotel and the trains are frequent. We did get complimentary ear plugs, however, the beds still vibrated every time a train passed. It was kind of like a magic fingers bed for free…..

I just wanted to say what a nice stay my husband and I had. We just needed a simple no frills stay. You place was perfect. Great price. I am always worried about the clean at any place we stay, no matter the price point but your room was spotless. The man at the man at the desk and Bella were friendly and fabulous. The bed was comfortable (which you rarely find at any place) they TV had the same apps we use at home! We also live in a town with multiple cross train tracks used by both amtrak and Comercial trains so we didn't hear the trains at all. I posted my review because I felt some of the negative ones were wrong. If they looked at the website and read the instructions they would have realized they were the ones not paying attention to detail. I knew what I wanted. So thank you for providing that and exceeding my expectations. We stayed on 9.14.24 I also posted my same high opinion on Google reviews as well. I would stay there again for sure.

Very nice older motel. Yes, we heard the trains, but that’s gonna happen if you’re staying in Prairie Du Chen. Highly recommend!

good place to stay while on the road...
We needed a place for one evening as we traveled from Illinois to Minnesota. Will definitely stay again when in the area and need lodging. We didn't need fancy or luxury, the Prairie Voyager was perfect for us. Good location on main road, walking distance to Dairy Queen for an evening snack. The manager was friendly, even got us ice for our drinks! I've stayed at a few other Motor Lodge places, they advertise "Quaint" (not renovated since 1950) the Prairie Voyager has been upgraded, new flooring, paint, bathroom fixtures, was clean. Thank you, see you next time we are passing through!
